For over two years now, the team has been building, testing, designing, and iterating on our foodease.

We’ve always had three basic goals in mind while designing the foodease, and we gave our best to make them right.

 

The story of how foodease came to be is the story of my life. I come from a loving family with my mom, dad, and sister. My dad is a police officer, and my mom is an amazing homemaker who loves to cook. However, because she was good, I ended up missing out.  I never really learned how to cook myself. I never got the knack and I could just about survive, but there’s more to life than that.

When I left home, things changed. I had a good job and I  was making decent money, but I still struggled to cook for myself. I shared an apartment with friends, and when they cooked, I ate. When they did not, I ate out. This unhealthy pattern eventually was starting to affect my health, and I noticed it was a problem for many of my friends too, who were also working long hours at multi national software companies

I wanted to use my knowledge and skills to solve this problem. As someone with a master's degree in electrical engineering and robotics, I decided to create a machine that could automatically cook food for people like me who don't know how to cook. It would have built-in recipes, and users could share their recipes with loved ones and friends. It was going to be the next best thing to install in my kitchen.

And so, foodease was born. It’s taken some time to perfect the technology, but we’re there and we’re planning to expand its potential because everybody needs to eat and eat well.
